Ok we're gonna change it up and forget about the genre's. I think it made it too long and drawn out and as a result interest suffered for the 21st century....so yeah, nominate your 15 favorite Movies of the 1990's. I had a hard time picking on 15 so make sure you get all the ones you want. peace

My Nominations:

American History X
Braveheart
Fight Club
Forrest Gump
Goodfellas
Interview with the Vampire
Pulp Fiction
Se7en
Terminator 2: Judgment Day
The Shawshank Redemption
The Silence of the Lambs
The Usual Suspects
Tombstone
Trainspotting
Young Guns II: Blaze of Glory (I dunno why, just an awesome flick i still watch it regularily hihi )

Remember, No Documentaries, Live Concerts, Stand-Up Comedies, or Television Episodes. Remasters and special editions still count as orig movies....use the orig release dates

I will leave this thread open till Friday, November 10th. Come up with your own list of the top 15 Movies of the 1990's. After Nominations are complete we'll will start voting off our least favorites.

I'm gonna have to number them or I'll go way over:

1) The Shawshank Redemption (which, FYI, is my odds on favorite to win)
2) Pulp Fiction
3) The Lion King
4) Toy Story
5) Boxing Helena
6) Silence of the Lambs
7) Remains of the Day
Cool Much Ado about Nothing
9) Forrest Gump
10) The Usual Suspects
11) Clerks
12) Schindler's List
13) Titanic (which is included almost purely because of it's box office gross for me....)
14) JFK
15) Good Will Hunting

Damn, that's tough. ?I didn't even get in The English Patient, American Beauty, Braveheart or Unforgiven. ?Wow.....

yeah there are so many good movies i wanted to include, i'm not a fan of huge longwinded dramas like Schindler's List, while it may be an excellent film just not enought to hold my attention for the duration so i excluded it. ?some other films i considered Casino (also discarded cuz i usually lose interest about midway hihi don't even get me started on Costner's "epics" rofl ); Edward Scissorhands; Heat; Kalifornia; Mars Attacks; The Basketball Diaries; True Romance; Twelve Monkeys; Untamed Heart; What's Eating Gilbert Grape. I forgot about Birdcage and The Crow Lips Sealed This is exactly why i started the survivor with genres cuz when you start sifting through the movies there is a shitload that you'd otherwise forget Undecided

3) The Lion King

I knew there was a better Disney one than Aladdin that I forgot... had to edit my list.

This is exactly why i started the survivor with genres cuz when you start sifting through the movies there is a shitload that you'd otherwise forget Undecided
