Launch Radio Networks reports: PAPA ROACH opened for GUNS N'ROSES last night (Tuesday, October 31) in Jacksonville, Florida, its fifth show on that band's new North American tour. Although PAPA ROACH singer Jacoby Shaddix says the tour is going great so far, he admitted to Launch that he has yet to meet a personal hero, GUNS frontman W. Axl Rose: "I'm just hesitant to meet Axl, man, I'm just like, I don't know. Probably by the end of the tour I'll end up meeting him, but so far I have not met him yet, which is like, you know sometimes, when you, like, imagine what somebody would be like and then you meet 'em and then you're like, aw, you're bummed out? I'll probably end up meeting him. Everybody says he's a cool cat, so I'm sure we'll click."

PAPA ROACH plays tomorrow (Thursday, November 2) in Greensboro, North Carolina with GUNS N' ROSES.

After finishing up with GUNS, PAPA ROACH will headline the Zippo Hot Tour, which will begin on November 13 in Norfolk, Virginia. BULLETS AND OCTANE and (HED) P.E. will also be featured on the tour.

PAPA ROACH recently released its fourth major label album, "The Paramour Sessions".

That's pretty much how I feel, if I were ever given that opportunity. Glad to even know people that are in the biz, feel the same way about Ax-man.

I hope Axl blames EMO for the fall of western civilization, just as I do.

a-fucking-men to that brother.

bullshit emo bands grabbed the youth by the balls, ripped them off, and left them depressed with only black clothes and arrogantly unfounded opinions. ?I fucking hate it. ?Kids slitting wrists because their mommy didnt hold them enough as a kid or running away because they're life isn't as normal as little bobby down the street. ?Hell, if little bobby has half of a brain and doesn't dress like he works at a halloween adventure store, then bobby becomes a fagot. ?

Fucked up shit.

Yeh I thought Jacoby met Axl at the Korn tour launch party cos they asked Axl to be on the new record and Axl had someone tell them that he "politely declined"

It was the drummer.? Axl didn't decline at that moment, or at least it wasn't reported that way.? Here's the direct quote from the story by Steve Baltin:

"While Rose and his revolving cast of Gn'R bandmates have been working on Chinese Democracy, Papa Roach have achieved platinum status in their own right. But tonight, their drummer reverts to his teenage fan days, asking Rose for a picture and to guest on Papa Roach's next album. Rose strikes a pose and then graciously refers the fellow rocker to his management."

I wonder if he was asked for the release date of "Chinese Democracy", and was again referred to Axl?s management.
