rhiad=perfect b-side; but don't agree with "catcher"...

Why would you want catcher in the album? WE already have a studio cut of it. Look at it like this. Would you rather have CITR that we already have or would you rather have an unreleased song like The general that we ?have never heard?

I'd like that to be a hit and a known classic, not something that only us nerds know! Put CITR on the album...too good to be obscure.

Having seen them do Ridyah/Rhiad.. however it's spelt, I can confirm the song is much better live than when heard on MP3 : the studio version will, no doubt, far out strip the live recordings we've heard so far. I hope they can find place for it on the album, as it's the only one of the new songs they've played live I haven't actually heard a soundboard or FM broadcast version of.  (the Osaka earpiece mix doesn't count).

I love Rhiad. I think it shows a ton of promise. If we don't get a studio version of it I'll be very disappointed.

I'm talking about Rhiad.  The songs sucks and I am a huge GN'R fan.  It reminds me of My World.  Those are the two GN'R songs I don't like.

The fact that you don't like those songs doesn't mean they suck! I think Mike Clink said that UYI is the good, the bad and the ugly of GN'R....

Slash himself said that UYI is GN'R version of the Beatles "White Album", because of the diverse styles on it... I fully agree on that.

"Rhiad" is a perfect example of that too... even though this is a new incarnation of GN'R. Why? 'Cause Axl IS GN'R!!!
