Depending if I can get off for the 11th to get home to work......I plan on getting to NYC on the afternoon of the 9th.  I'm going to try to get a room at the Carter because that was by far the cheapest room out of any (I don't give a damn if it even has a bed...I plan on spending mucho time sight seeing).  Are there any gunners planning anything for the night of the 9th?  I want to go visit the John Lennon Imagine memorial and maybe check out Times Square, but then I might hit up some clubs or something.  If there are any plans let me know.  It's going to suck going alone because all of my friends aren't into it so I said fuck em.  Well depending on how tomorrow goes at work, I hope to see all of you there and drink and meet some great kickass people.

My tickets came in the mail today.  Finally..FINALLY..so my guess is with Tickets.com orders..figure 10 days prior to show date and you'll get your tickets...However don't hold that theory as anything can happen...

Now I'd probably still will saunter over to will call if my other ticket order doesn't arrive.

its a new club co-owned by Scott Ian,

Papa Roach are expected to play there, Scott Ian is expected to be there,

There is no doubt in my mind that Axl will not be there, let alone the entire GNR performing

It's sort of my understanding that this is a private club that runs by invite only for live events.  Unless someone has actually been able to call and reserve a table?

Whoa Nov. 9th at the Hammerstein there is a benefit for children with Aids in Africa that is being hosted by Iman (Bowie's wife).  Bowie is going to do a few songs live and Alicia Keys and Louis the XIV will be there.  Tickets are $250 just for the concert and another $250 to go to the pre-benefit cocktail party where Bowie will be.  I may try to attend the concert if I can scrap $250 up.  Shit imagine seeing Bowie one night and GNR the next.  I don't think it could get any better than that.

Really??? Hmmmm, I just talked to some cats on the Milwaukee thread and their show is 11-29 and they got their tickets already! Can you believe that? WTF tickets.com? MSG folks are still waiting, chicago folks are still waiting... How the hell did those tickets get sent out before ours? I don't know how they're doing it, but it sure ain't right.
