The idea for Tickets.com to send tickets to MSG and then they put the tickets in the envelopes and then ship it to TIckets.com and have them send those tickets to us..if that's what I'm reading correctly...
Total waste of time and energy and the consumer gets screwed royally, meanwhile some of us with credit card charges are paying extra on interest. It's not about money but principle

So basically the tickets will be ticketmaster tickets?
Or printed by the box office themselves

How can this place stay in business man? I'm sure we are not the only ones who have purchased through tickets.com. We ought to start our own ticket business up - hell I can print and deliver them for cheaper than what those a-holes are charging!!!!!! And since I know the importance of waiting for tickets to arrive on the part of a fan, I'd set up shop and crank as soon as they were ordered. I'd just love to put them all out of business with cheaper, faster, and better ways to do business. That would the ultimate satisfaction!
Hey, I busted up ticketmaster and tickets.com from my basement! I sell tickets with no fees and they get there faster! And I don't reserve any tickets for any scalpers. They have to go through my system just like everyone else.
I know, dreamin, dreamin, dreamin....

I called regarding the ticket order I placed...
Tickets.com referred me to call the box office to find out who's handling the tickets.
and thus I'm on hold waiting for guest relations at MSG. 212 465 6225 is that number.
I am willing to bet they're going to refer me back to Tickets.com..but whomever is holding those tickets are making us wait for a long period of time.
And I'm betting it's ticketmaster taking their time to print it.
*******************************
Far as I see it now after talking with MSG guest relations, they have no knowledge and one of the agents might be thinking that the fan club itself is going to mail out the tickets rather than Tickets.com.? (though I suspect tickets.com is stonewalling)
****************************************************
3:54pm
Tickets.com first told me a song and dance reply but I went for a supervisor and he basically said that they were waiting for Ticketmaster stock to come so they can print the tickets from their site.? And that within a 10 day window from event date they will probably not send tickets via mail.? And I asked if they did get stock would they ship tickets via fedex or some other faster means ..they said no.
Customer service guy did mention that the previous time they and Ticketmaster were "partners" in another event that tickets ended up at will call.? A total mess if you ask me.
Guess I'll just see you guys at will call on the 10th cause I don't have faith in Ticketmaster sending their paper stock to Tickets.com
So who knows what's the truth out there..only the promoter knows.

they better send these out. i bought tix on ebay. if the seller doesn't get them at least a day before, i guess i'll be SOL.
Hopefully the person you bought them from got them from Ticketmaster.? I hate to hear that you had to pay a scalper though!? I am sure someone here would have had some extras-
i'm assuming the person i bought them from got them from tickets.com cause he said he does not have them yet.
were ticketmaster orders sent out already?
i wanted GA floor so i had to go the e-bay route. tickets were selling at about $110-$140 each, which is face or slightly over (after you include the TM fees). so not too bad. i got a pair for $240 + $10 shipping. so just about $15 over face. not too bad.

Is Papa Roach better then BFMV? I remember PR had a hit a few years ago, but can't remember then doing anything major lately, unless I'm wrong.

Better...umm...they're definetely not as irritating as bmfv but they definetely suck just as bad.? The singer is a douchebag and they're songs are as lame as can be.? They just released a n ew album that blows worse then theyre older material.? Hope to enter the show about 15-20 minutes after theyre finished.? Don't want these jackoffs to ruin my buzz

I think this would depend on if you have actual seats or have GA. The only recent experience I had with GA at MSG was last year for U2 and they made us stand outside in a line (around the corner) while everyone who had actual seats got to use the nice front covered entrance (and it was freezing rain which made this so much fun, haha)-I have no idea if they will run it this way again though.
I will probably go in about 7:30 or so since I have seats to this one.
