Just talked with Stitch...AND THE PREPARTY IS THERE!

He said that the upstairs area will not be opened for us until a 'decent' amount of people show up, which makes sense...they are going going to dedicate a bartender to 5 people.

STITCH'S IS THE PLACE!

So what time does this shindig start?  I'm going to try to get out of work early that day, so I can spend more time at the pre parties than I did in May.  I can't wait!!!   beer

I want to get there as early as possible, but being as me and my friends are making the drive from PA again, chances are we won't even get to the city until 4:00. If all goes to plan, I want to at least be on the highway by noon!

Well, I'm all for starting at 11:59 AM...so..HA!  rofl

In all seriousness, the earlier the better, but I don't think we'd be leaving PA till 11. 10 at the earliest. We do want to hit Times Square for a bit too.

MSG security is a joke, they don't pat you down or wave the wand or make you walk through anything. You walk in, thats it.

I'm flying to JFK... surely its not that bad. You are scaring me now...? nervous

Do not, I repeat, do not take any cab that isn't a YELLOW CAB.? That means no Town Cars, no random minivans, nothing.? You will be charged twice as much as the standard JFK Yellow Cab fee ($45), and when you reach your destination, the "cabbie" will try to charge you even more than what he quoted you verbally.? And that's just the beginning...

THE LEGALLY MANDATED YELLOW CAB FARE FROM JFK TO ANY OF THE FIVE BOROUGHS IS $45.? DO NOT ACCEPT ANYTHING HIGHER.

My apologies if you were already aware of all this.

Thats some excellent advice there! Ive seen too many people ripped off by the scumbags who feed off of tourists, and visitors.
