I was at the first and last Hammerstein shows! I think this one will be better just being able to look back into the crowd and seeing 18 thousand people singing along in a packed house.
I believe my tickets will say GA4 but I believe thats a formality and I'm in the pit!
Guns N' Roses
Madison Square Garden, New York, NY
Fri, Nov 10, 2006 08:00 PM?
Seat location: section GA
I'm 99% sure thats no seats or anything.

Just stand on your chair that's what I intend to do, except I have almost taken a tumble quite a few times from doing this, especially when I have some liquor in me

Will Sebastian Bach be playing at NYC?
If so, what songs does he play? Skid Row stuff. If I hear 18 and Life, I Remember You, Youth Gone Wild, Slave To The Grind, and/or The Threat I might die.

Bandita, did you put the curse on me by the GNR god's, I recall you saying. Well I guess they like me a little bit, cause I nailed GA tkts. But I really don't understand why U would put such a hex on an original GNR man, and not this hillbillie quartet that AXL threw together. Slash in his worse drunken state and I have seen a few of those, kicks ass over these new wannabes. So I don't know why all the bad vibes, but I will be at Mustang Harry's, Drink'g my new drink I got hooked on in Vegas a couple weeks ago, Patron and Red Bull, lets see if you can hang.
Peace
Smoke 'em if you got 'em!

There is a section for people like you where they live in the past.
If you don't like the new band, why go to the show.
Better get used to them though because they are here to stay.
BTW, anyone who wanted GA got them. Don't feel special and my hex still remains because you are dissing some very talented musicians.

Dude, take a poll....no way in hell do these guys belong on the same stage w/Duff,Izzy,Slash,Steven(in his brief day and Matt.) Bandita, you might be a VIP on this board, but you have no clue when it comes to the balls of a band of the 1 and only GnR. and the main reason I go is because only Axl will blow the roof off MSG,like he did in 2002. If you think these guys are musicians, well, I feel sorry for you. I was 5 feet from them on the 1st nite @ Hammerstein and they can play the old GnR, but their solo's sucked ass.

People like you don't deserve to get as close to the band as 5 feet.
You don't even deserve to be in the venue.
People go to these shows in order to have a good time and support the band. That's why they buy tickets.
This may come as a shock, but, you know, this band doesn't need kids like you.
You sound like you're doing them a favor for showing up.
I wouldn't bother going if I were you. Not even for Axl. I bet he wouldn't want you to go either.
So you better spend your money and time on something else.
Oh, and, looks like you got 'em, but don't smoke too much.

Erm she has more of a fucking clue than you dude look Old Gnr has gone they have sealed their place in history, this is New Gnr and them guys have every right to be up there playing the old Songs. This is a tight group ive seen 8 shows this tour and the group gets better every time. I will be at MSG and i hope to see the look on your face when you realise how wrong you are. Yes Axl will blow the fuckng roof off but with the help of the rest of Guns N' Roses

Hey Lara, thanks but I have a great F'g time @every show,I stopped showing up to shows stoned,oh about 18 years ago. Then I started to appreciate the muscians a lot more, that's where I"m coming from and just to refresh everyones memory, Axl is the band, and that's where I spend my cash and oh I deserve to be up front and personal. My dollar is just as important to Axl as is yours Lara, don't fool yourself,it's green. I just made my opinon known. I'm trying to give these guys the benefit of the doubt, Anythinggoe sez I'll be suprised. Well, I hope after the European tour they got tighter, the jury is still out on their solo's. Has anyone seen/heard Slash,Duff,Matt in VR lately, that is what rock GOD"S sound like....tight, crisp, original all rolled up into 1 big power punch...do you wanna be GNR fans get my point yet? Axl is always going to be Bill Bailey, but this is not GNR, it's all a mirage-until proven otherwise. Maybe on Sept. 5th(GA) 10th they can change my mind. That's right Lara I spend my hard earned $$$ to see the band I wanna see, right now it's just a name, hopefully they can make it a band.
Peace.

You spend your hard earned money on a band of 8 members out of which you appreciate only one.
Smart investment.

This thread is meant to celebrate and talk about GNR playing at MSG, some people like the old band better and thats fine, some people like the new band better and thats fine. I have a friend who wont go to a GNR show because he says its not the same. Regardless I could care less, because 1 Im goign to see GNR at MSG, and 2 this isnt a thread to discuss old and new.

I think if you register with ticketmaster and you're in the tri-state area (or maybe only Manhattan), you can get tix to this for free.
If you scroll down on the left on the main ticketmaster homepage after you register, there is a complimentary link and it brings you to a list of shows at BB Kings for a bunch of cover bands (I got my free tix to see Theater of Pain and Mr. Brownstone last time they were there). Pretty sweet deal - it'll just cost you $1.25 for handling or processing or something.
I think it's only if you register though...

You can ignore all that - admission is only penny...
But still good to know for the future or if you want to see Mr. Brownstone (highly recommended!)

My tix say GA8 seats 19-20. Does anybody know if that's towards the center or towards the side of the arena? If anybody can tell me I'd greatly appreciate it.
