If it is coming out the 7th, 14th or 21st, don't look in your Sunday retail ads to confirm.
It won't be in there (I can assure you that).
If it is released, it would have to be with a completely different promotional campaign strategy for the first week.
It could be a combination of iTunes, Harley Davidson and other things...

I know I posted this rumor, and I'm not bagging on it, but I do wonder how much the DJ's at Hair Nation could possibly know that we don't....unless they've been advised that a single or something is coming.

I know there was nothing saying that xx/xx/xxxx is the release date, but it's just THAT info with what the DJ said points towards something happening. It may not, but it does at least show signs of activity.

Well, the band touring is also activity, and that doesn't mean that November 7th is the release date either.  I mean, any of the rumoured dates is possible as there is a lot of activity around the GNR camp.

I'll need to check with the program director at the rock station in my building to see if they've received a single or if they're supposed to.

The former program director (who left two months ago) - received an e-mail back in August from a tour/ALBUM rep for GN'R..so..if something is gonna happen next week, we should have a single by Friday. I'll keep everyone updated!

I agree. Hell, any activity is cool with me. You're right about activity not = release date. Guess for the next few weeks there's going to be a lot of these type rumors about the release date. They must just figure the odds of being right and take a chance. If correct, they look like they are on the "inside". If wrong, then just blame Axl.

I'm the guy who heard it, and I don't take offense at all.

I, too, have some misgivings about any rumor that would drop the album on us that quickly... but, they did say it, so the rumor certainly bears some discussion.

this is great news!  hopefully they have legitimate info.  I wrote to tawn yesterday but haven't heard back yet, i'll post the response as soon as i get it
