Heard something (partially) odd on Sirius Radio today...(RUMORED CD DATE!)

around 1 PM.

I was listening to Sirius Sat radio on the way home from work.? I got an "alert" that a GnR song was about to start (Paradise City).? I flipped over to Hair Nation to listen. Tawn Mastery (I'm pretty sure it was her), one of their DJ's, was on doing an intro to the song and all I caught was this:

".....Chinese Democracy CD release, which only gives us a week for confirmation.? I don't know.? Here's Guns n Roses".

And that was it.

I don't know if she was talking about a rumored release date (next Tuesday??) or what.? I know there are some other Sirus subscribers around here and I'm wondering if anybody heard the entire intro spiel and can shed more light.? ?

Edit: Check my post on page 2.  She was definitely talking about a release date.

Probably regarding the rumored 21st release date. She might have said that there should be an announcement within a week if the rumor is true.

I'm really pissed at myself for not listening to Sirius today.  I have the day off, but I was to busy listening to news stuff all day (damn upcoming election!).  I listen to Tawn quite a bit.

She used to DJ at a station in Minneapolis years ago and she was pretty good at replying to emails back then.

OK I just emailed her.  I know it sounds stupid but i'm at work and don't have time to write a poem:

Dear Tawn,

I was listening to your show on Hair Nation today, and right before you played Paradise City you mentioned something about the Chinese Democracy release date.  I think you said something like "...hinese Democracy CD release, which only gives us a week for confirmation.  I don't know.  Here's Guns n Roses."  Unfortunately, I missed the first part of your sentence.  Can you please let me know what you were referring to?

It's strange.? I've been a Sirius subscriber for almost 2 years now and I've never written to anyone there yet.

Yea that is there standard response letter. I hit them hard with emails back the other month when they were talking release dates and I got no response from an actual human.

The other week I emailed the one chick who talks about AXl on Octane through her own website and she got back to me in about 30 minutes. She knew nothing at that time. Hopefully this chick is cool and writes you back.

I e-mailed Robyn Lane from Buzzsaw back in April when I heard her say that Chinese Democracy was being mixed and Guns was about to announce some MORE shows.  This was days before they announced the Hammerstein dates.  I e-mailed her to enlighten me if she could and she got back to me within a day.  You'll probably hear back.  I anxiously await her response.
