hi guys, dont know how reliable virgin megastores is or how early they recieve release dates or anything but i asked the lass today if they have a release date on chinese democracy by guns n roses (or anything new by guns n roses) she checked on the computer and guess what...........NOTHING! lol

True, we had a HUGE one here, and it was the only record store around, so I loved it.. and they just closed down.  Cry

it seems to me that none of the stores have a release date...  i always look at bestbuy.com, futureshop.com, amazon, etc. and haven't seen anything pop up.  I assume that when a release date is sent to retailers (i.e. it's in their computers), we will start to see it popping up online as well.

But, just because a release date isn't "in the computer" doesn't mean that one hasn't been set yet.  If it does just show up in stores, as Merck suggested, it might not show up in computers until the release date...

We'll know in advance.  Theres no way, in this age, that the CD will just "pop up" in a CD store.  Maybe 15 years ago, but certainly not today.

its worth saying "delete this" b/c in the last week or so people have been making REALLY dumb threads or "new" threads repeating the same old topics over and over again.  At the same time, really good threads get pushed to the bottom.  The GNR section is barely worth checking out right now b/c of all the repetitive/dumb threads.

was this REALLY worth making a new topic over?
