I purchased a Vinyl Record a few years ago with GN'R and Motley Crue fuckin around in the studio. I seem to remember a song they played together with the chorus something like, 'an elephants dick under my arm'?? lol, I know it sounds far fetched, but has anyone else heard of it? I would like some history on the record as I am considering putting it on Ebay together with a ton of my old other stuff.

Let me know.  Cheers      beer

I have something from the Unwanted Illusions bootleg called "Booze Party" that goes like this:

"Well...
I'm a West Coast junkie,
An East Coast monkey,
Got an elephant dick under my arm!"

Then they stop singing after that and go into acoustic Move to the City.  That's all I have though.  Do you remember anything else from yours?

ok so yours is from the illusion sessions? Mine was 'supposedly from 1988 with Motley Crue, but with all the noise from the partying going on, you can't make out who is there.... way too much nightrain...

Still like to hear from anyone that has the same vinyl as me, I will take a picture tonight and post it to this link... Thanks again.

Actually, mine might be similar to yours because it definitely takes place somewhere because I've got the party noise too.  My track ends around 1:08 though.

I have the same recording. As far as I know it is only Guns n' Roses, no Motley Crue. Yes, they do that "elephant dick" intro then they go into an acoustic Move to the City (I have the complete song) and Axl says "arriba" during the song quite a few times. This seems to be a really early recording and it is a SUPERB/FANTASTIC recording, even better than the CBGB's acoustic. The band is having so much fun that it is contagious. I love that song. And I think that they MUST have played several songs on that same "party" and I REALLY would fuckin' LOVE to have the chance to listen to it.

I can only go on face-value on what i purchased, It was 100% sold as GN'R & Motley Crue. I paid about ?30.00 ($55.00) ?44.00 about 4-5 years ago, at the time I thought it was a good bargain. Like I said I will post some pics tonight and hopefully we can compare if we have the same pressing. Maybe I got ripped off, but I bought it as being a test pressing direct from the studio.

Thought I had found a little nugget there. Maybe it isnt so rare afterall.

...and they recorded the songs in 1987. Infact, all the songs on the Unwanted Illusion bootleg are recorded before 1988.

Maybe the vinyl is rare but the song is definitily not rare. I have a bootleg named Slashin' pumpkins and it also has this song together with some other old demo's such as Yesterdays,The garden,Sentimental movie,Bring it back home,... I bought this bootleg in 1992.
