when i came back from a work,i was laying on the band and listened uys yuur illusion 1 and 2.
i don't know what to tell new about about these genious 2 cd,but i think use your illusion 1 and 2 were the most genious album in the world...
ok ,i know many people here will tall me,you are crazy,lkisten apetite,listen zepellin,but people in my ears these are something amazing
Also i could remember that axl said before a couple years "world isn't ready for chinese democracy"
i think that world wasn't ready for illusions albums in 1991.
both albums had a great success,but i think that illusions albums deserve to be in a list of 5 albums in last centrury.

I think that quality music is timeless, and if the music he has is as good as we are led to believe than there is no "wrong time".

i agree, the illusion and all gnr albums are something very special, and  if theres someone that doesnt see that cuz they think its old and too soft then i truely feel sorry for them

Appetite is a great GREAT album, but its pretty much a straight up fuck the world rock album. Its great for what it is, but the UYI albums are their masterpiece.

And I also agree these albums are timeless.

Remember, the UYI albums were highly criticized by the critics, and although were popular, there was negativoty among them when they were first released.

Now in 2006, they call them genious & masterpiece in some of these news articles.

Most likely it'll be like that with CD. It'll age like fine wine...

The problem with illusions was it was almost too good... 30 tracks.. well 29 cos my world doesnt count... and many critics instantly thought.. why not one awesome album instead of two slightly awesome!!

I dont agree with that purely as a fan you want as much as you can get. And i think its more powerful and a bigger statemnet that they released two... that BOTH went number 1 adn 2 in the UK and US... simply amazing effort.

35 mill between them apparently.
