The Legend replied to the thread about the 14-year-old who died and had Don't Cry played at his funeral, and he said at HIS funeral he wants Paradise City to be played.
I thought this was kind of an interesting discussion to start. Without making it all morbid and depressing, of course. But my family members have talked about funeral songs before, for example my grandfather wants the theme from Good, Bad and the Ugly by Ennio Morricone.
I want them to play My World at my funeral, orgasmic screaming women and all.
And then I want Chris Pitman to perform a special rendition of Silkworms with Jon Lovitz on vocals.
Or maybe just Deborah's Song by Ennio Morricone...
Beautiful song.

That Billy Joel song "This Is The Time To Remember" followed by a 40 minute disco light blasting live version of The End by the Doors, complete with naked chicks dancing and smoke machines blasting.

The Prisoner- Iron Maiden
Yes, I'm serious.
For a while I thought some kvlt black metal would be cool, but funerals are depressing enough as it is. This song is uplifting, and I think the lyrics would be very suitable, even if they have absolutely nothing to do with funerals. Plus, it's just a great song.

Shit, I was gonna try and come up with some funny ones, but I could never top the Benny Hill theme and the Ghostbusters theme. Classic.

It's the one he sings at the end of Monty Python's The Life of Brian.
That would actually be a really cool song to have.
I probably haven't heard my funeral song yet, but if I died tomorrow, I'd go with Bobby McFerrin's Don't Worry Be Happy

Yes, I just listed Eric Idle instead of Monty Python to see who actually got the joke.
I saw a video on youtube of them singing this song at Graham Chapmans funeral and I thought "Thats how I wanna go out". That and having John Cleese cursing his ass off while giving my eulogy

While not AT my funeral, there is a song that might lead to my funeral.
That new freaking Evanescence song, "Call me when your sober" is stuck in my fucking head. I'd prefer to be shot...thus, it leading to my funeral...but it keeps playing over and over in my head. I've tried everything I can think of to get it out, short of the aforementioned bullet.
GRRRRR....

I'd chose this music from the Exorcist, I think it's called "Tibular bells". It'd freak everybody out
