I know GN'R have been accused of sexually degrading lyrics in the past, but I think Silkworms takes the cake.

I've never been bothered by the lyrics in It's So Easy because they were kids when they wrote that. When young guys get together they can tend to say some pretty sexually-degrading things sometimes.

This isn't really a thread for feedback on if you like the song, though; I was just curious to see what people consider to be the most misogynist song by the Guns. I think most people would probably agree it's Silkworms, but it's never been discussed before to my knowledge.  Huh

yeah, it does sound pretty misogynistic.  but you never know, it could be metaphors, it could be about how that kind of stuff is bad.  you never know?

i like the song in a strange way though.

yeah, the lyrics are crude and IMO I hate this song.
It's so Easy is one of my fav gnr songs, and for me, I interpret "bitch" as male or female (although generally used for women)

generally I love gnr lyrics, but this one sounds really lame.

Was Dizzy involved in writing this song as well?
