from GnR daily.com

Izzy: "I may do some shows with Axl around Christmas"
Monday ? November 13,  2006   8:41:58 AM  (CEST)

In the second episode of TuneCore's podcast with Jeff Price, he's done a phone interview with former Guns N' Roses rythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin. In the half hour long interview they talk about making the albums, the rise to fame, leaving GN'R and what happens next. When asked if he'll be out touring anytime soon, Izzy says:
"I may do some shows with Axl out here on the west coast around Christmas"

If LAD sells well on iTunes he'll tour Cool Some really cool info in this interview, new stuff, especially the 2nd part of the interview when they talk about his solo career. And at the end the song Bomb from LAD is played for those who haven't heard it.

That song is 'Da Bomb' (pun intended of course...), Axl should take note of this 'cause I'm afraid CD won't have anything as straightforward rock n' roll as this on it.

Actually, I've been listening to it for some days now, sounds like something VR would do. I like it, a lot!

Are there other Izzy songs in the same vein, 'cause I've always imagined his music to be more laid-back, more boring actually (and the hammerhead thing didn't convince me either)?

His other music is more laidback indeed (and not boring? Wink ) with the exception of Ride On and some songs on 117 degrees.

Hear you can hear the sound of the other albums, the songs on the album itself vary alot so.. but it'll give you an impression.

http://www.izzyitalia.cjb.net/ at the audio section

As far as LAD goes songs like "Bomb" are pretty much general on LAD. Only rocking ballad is a song called Chop Away, the rest is all hardrock.
