What?  "IRS" intro sounds nothing like "The Rain Song" intro, unless you have a live version of the "The Rain Song" and they happened to play a different intro to it.

Check out the album version of it, and you'll see that there iare no similarities.  "IRS" has a mellow feel, but "The Rain Song" just completely takes you away.

Hmm, nobody seems to be talking about this song much anymore.  Nobody like it anymore or is it considered an "old" song by most of you since we heart the first release back in April of last year?  I still dig it...rocking tune.

I love this song too! I think it jams so hard.
I lot of people seem to consider it 'filler' or whatever the fuck else, but I think it absolutely fucking jams. Can't wait to hear it without a drum machine and in its final mix!  ok

this song rocks and i'm sure the final mix will be even better. Do you guys think when CD comes out they'll do what alot of bands do, and put out a limited number of copies that come with a disc of bonus material? axl did say they were working on 32 songs, 26 of which were done at that time. He said 13 on the cd, so that leaves alot of leftovers. i'm thinking maybe the best buy's will have a bonus cd with it.

Yes, the song kicks ass. Love the guitars. And if you listen to it through headphones, theres some sort of loop going on in the background that sounds kinda like a sitar or something, very cool. And again, I love love love Finck's super-clean guitars. So slick...
