no its got to be real....leave it to the record company to mix pics of the from the 80's with the current logo...makes sense cause the record company is clueless....they had AFD pics on the greatest hits album, and the majority of the songs were without Adler on them....and god forbid they mention Dizzy Reed....whatever, the new album will be out soon so the record company can shove it

I mentioned in another thread, I previously worked in the CD/DVD manufacturing industry and had alot of contact with various record companies and their designers be it in-house or out-sourced.

In my mind, this is a most definitely un-official. The fact they have wanted to make it 'special/limited' but couldn?t go to printers/manufacturers such as AGI (the people that produce Digipak for example) because AGI and other such companies have an agreement with the various record companies & licensing organisations to ensure that their artists get the correct recognition, royalties etc..

There were so many times, independent record companies would ask us to produce new Oasis/Nirvana/Madonna material it was crazy, it was obvious it was bootlegged material and we would therefore not produce the CD's. There were however less reputable companies that would be happy to produce these discs and take care of all the printed packaging.

It seems the designers have worked on a cad cam cardboard product that will hold the cd's with die-cut apertures rather than plastic trays.

In essence what I am saying is, one of these independent companies have gone to this designer and asked them to design some 'fancy' packaging. The designer I am pretty sure doesn't have to be regulated by the various licensing authorities.

I may be wrong and for that apologise, it is simply my take on it.

Again, sorry to rush this, I hope it makes sense.
