Russian Roulette - well said
The great majority want Axl/Slash (myself included), and that will probably never change.? However, I do think they need to just release CD, get some singles out there and tour the living hell out of the US if Axl wants to really move forward and even come close to attempting what he had in the early 90's (I personally don't think he'll ever have that again).?
By dropping a studio "best of" with classic Guns at the same time as a new CD, you'll never get people to forget what once was, and further the belief that this is Axl with a cover band trying to make some money, especially when they find out Slash & co are not with him.? ?Sure they may hear it and want to go see them live, but in the end its not gonna help the on the fence people make the move to "new GNR"? -? I mean honestly if given the chance, how many of you would want new GNR and new/old music over old GNR and new/old music?? Very few. Tell me that if you went to a show in say '07, at 10:30 the lights went out, WTTJ started and when the lights came on it was shining down on Slash you wouldn't shyte your pants!?! That the building wouldn't be rocked to its foundation??
This is my most important point: We're all just playing with the hand we've been dealt and have to realize that seeing GNR now will always happen in two parts - 1/2 when you see GNR and 1/2 when you see VR, but never as a whole.? ?In this case, the sum of these parts will NEVER equal the whole.
That's why I am so desperately hoping for a reunion tour.? This is the only thing re: GNR that would fully satsify me (and I know I am not alone) since I'd never seen them live from 87-93.? In addition, I'd welcome lots of different kinds of new music from them, because at its roots, that is the GNR I know and grew up with.

Good tracklist, but the order is fucked up. Can't have PC and SCOM that early.

i bet it`s exactely the same.... the new gnr logo is also the same.... could this company be responsible for the entire new gnr design??
this also brings all the theories about a planned reunion back in my mind
. late 2005 is just another mystery in the world of gnr i guess...
i wouldn`t be surprised if some of that stuff is actually included on the chinese democracy artwork... like the design of the cds

What if This Supposed GH2 Album IS CHINESE DEMOCRACY BUT WITH A FAKE TRACK LISTING? SO then everyone would think CD isnt coming out this year, and nobody would want to leak it because they think its Gh2! OMG, OMG OMG !!!
but honestly, i like the cover.. Theres just something about it...

the bullet cd design is really cool, but it annoys me that the bullets aren't centered around the disc.... you notice that the bullets at the top of the CD are cut off, but you can see the entire bullets on the bottom of the cd.
