I'm all for dropping KOHD & LALD.. Bland, not theirs, LALD was never a tremendous song to begin with. KOHD is cool when done in a minimalist way (ie. Dylan & an acoustic). But. I'd rather hear GnR do different covers or songs off "Lies".

I live in nyc and just got back from the Madonna concert at MSG. She played mostly NEW songs from her NEW cd, and the show sucked b/c of it. (And she requested NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! IT WAS SOOOO HOT)


Anyway...I think Axl will be justified NEXT tour when he plays mostly Chinese and far less AFD. He CAN play those songs b/c we're all ready for this cd after waiting YEARS.

But Madonna has a new cd out every few yrs, she doesn't need to promote her new cd, but what does she do....play mostly new songs.


THATS WHY I AGREE WITH THE SET LIST RIGHT NOW. If you did not know GnR too well, and they play Don't Damn Me, or 14 Years...we would all love it, but the normal person would think the show sucked. That's what Madonna did tonight, mostly songs we could care less about.

Axl is ENTERTAINING us right now. Madonna should take a lesson from GnR on how to entertain. Regardless, the 2002 MSG GnR show and Hammerstein shows killed Madonna's show. GnR shall rule the world again!!

i don't mind them playing KOHD. Honestly, if I go to a GNR concert, I want my chance to sing along to KOHD.
