I've long said Coma should be the closer to every show...

But I don't know if Axl can hit the last two minutes of coma anymore........

I would love to hear 'em to do Civil War for a couple reasons. One, it's just a kick ass song. Two, It's hugely political, and I think that it still has tons of meaning what with the whole Iraq War.  It could be a good statement from Axl to do that song.

You are correct my friend. I was listening the other day and thought the same thing about the similarities to today.

Well ironically that also tells us that music doesn't change the world. Undecided

John Lennon and George Harrison basically changed the world with their music.

Rock in Rio need back to Rio

« Reply #206 on: April 11, 2006, 09:56:48 AM »

I think that the next shows will have no news for us ...   no
The same setlist of Rock in Rio 2001, Mini World and USA tour...
The will play the old song with Madagascar, Chinese Democracy, The BLues, sometimes Oh My God and Rhiad and Bedouins and maybe BETTER...

When the album really will be for sale  they will do a new show playing a lot of new songs...
I think that the next show will be just to AXL say  "Hi, I'm backing and that is my new band" peace
JUST MY opinion ...   hihi

We need wait to see  ok

You're crazy.. the new guys would be upset if they couldn't jam out at least 5-6 new songs this tour at every show. I am sure they want to show off their original work pretty bad.

Do you think any of them would question Axl when he tells them what they are playing?

I'm sure they would be like "common, man. we been working on these tracks for 4 years, lets play them to the audience." But, if Axl was like "shut the fuck up, I am the authority figure, we will play all of Appetite for Destruction." Then maybe they would cowher and go sit in the corner like a chastised child. hihi

I think you are wrong. I think you're gonna see just about all of the 9-10 newer songs played each concert, with some classics thrown in.
Now more than ever, it's time to prove what this new band is all about -

I would love to hear a ton of new songs and a few oldies.  But let's be serious here, it's probably going to be the exact same set it was in 2002, maybe a few tracks different.  There is no way they're playing anything from UYI that they didn't play before.  It won't happen.

I think they will do a total opposite to last tour and play a lot of new songs.

However yeah dude I think you are high thinking they won't play any  Smiley  smoking

I think they will play more new songs as they go.. just a few for these first shows, not to ruin the surprise  ok

I wonder if he will speak a lot at these shows or leave most of the talking to RIR  Huh

Well since Chinese is supposed to have 13 tracks, you can definetly count on them playing old songs.
