I have to vent here a bit.

What is it with people going off about how Axl leaves the stage?? Get over it!? I'm honestly sick and tired of reading posts, or reviews about how people don't like him going back stage.? Does it really matter?? Undecided? Who honestly gives a rats ass if he goes back stage?? He still sings all the songs!

To be honest, I've seen them twice now, and I haven't even really noticed it.? I guess that's because I'm too busy watching Guns N Roses and not Axl Rose!? Yeah sure, I like to watch Axl, but there are other entertainers up there as well.

FUCK!

Tell that to Steven Tyler....  however, if that's what Axl needs to perform better during the songs, so be it.

I honestly didn't notice him going off at all.  I agree with the post saying that it's a mentality thing.  This tour especially, the rest of the band have been holding their own on the stage.

Actually this was a bit of a problem the shows I was at. People seemed to start groaning, and yelling "get back out here asshole" at him.

Then of course when he came back out, suddenly he was God again...

What Axl does is very hard.  To sing the way he does while moving around and performing is etremely difficult.  If it helps to suck down some oxygen then I say  Cool

I don't see no problem with going backstage. Better that than staying onstage during solos etc and doing nothing, right ?

It allows him a break between songs.

I think I'd rather see Axl run backstage for every solo than having him be a cheesy frontman and play air guitar beside Robin, Ron or Richard...now that would just suck!

I agree. I think what people forget is that the solos would be there anyways. They weren't added because Axl needs to go back stage, they would be there anyways. What would you like to see? Axl just kinda standing there?

Lets face it....the bandmates he has ....as sad as you guys might realize it....ARE FILLERS
Like, say, Robin, who wrote the first single off the new album?

Whether it's old era or new era, I kinda like when Axl goes backstage. It gives some time for the other band members to show off.

i don't know but i've seen other performers running and jumping and doing whatever it takes on stage without going backstage to recuperate for an hour and a half.
