There may be minor press coverage when the actual album comes out but generally the mainstream media outlets (news channels, etc) do not pay much attention to bands or music unless someone in them dies or kills someone else.  The last Axl mention I saw on the regular news was indeed the security biting incident- peace

Haha, I didn't even see that written under your name until just now.  I was stuck in a flashback of having to learn how to write Haiku in middle school 20 years ago-

The written press will have some coverage for sure-and of course any magazines, sites that are music based.  Other than that I would really say not too much, especially here in the US.  We are too driven by watching news of pedophiles being caught cybering teens online and celebrity killers.
