Why are we being censored? enough beating around the bush, I want answers

This is even more rediculas.

What is the deal with all the censorship here.? Every time I watch a movie on TV and they beep out the swear words, I feel ripped off and now a forum that is supposed to be the leader in news, discussion and events to do with Guns N' Roses is trying to cover things up and limit what its members can discuss on the forum.? We all know what happened, what was said and we all saw what is trying to be covered up.?

If this is a discussion board where members views and opinions are welcomed, I wanna know EXACTY why we're being told to Shut-up!

You don't need to know why, you need to decide whether it's worth putting up with the censorship. Because, whether the answer is yes or no, once you've made that decision the "why" is irrelevant.

I'll just chime in and say, if you don't like it, go to a different site because bitching about it here isn't going to help. ?I've been coming to this site for my GNR news for well over 5 years and while i'm sure i'll still check in occasionally I disagree strongly with the way jarmo has run this site in recent weeks and so i'll just go elsewhere. ?in my dreams enough people would do the same so that he gets the message but I will be the first to admit that it's his site and he has every right to run it however he wants. ?see ya on the other side.

I don't understand why we're still not allowed to talk about certain things that are talked about on the talking metal podcast, which is under the news section. Maybe the bans been lifted, but if it hasn't, the link to the talking metal podcast should be removed. Jarmo's just doing what's best for him and the board so you guys should really cut him some slack.

Its because jarmo cooperates with managment. If you want non-censorship you can join another gnr message board. i remember presale passwords were being exchanged like wildfire over at chinesedemocracy.com.

This pretty much is the offical gnr fan site. Censorship is just one of the things that comes with the territory.

I really think that people are making too much of this. You can find the items in question at other places on the net. Jarmo has been requested by GNR management to limit discussion of these matters. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that it will be in his best interest to comply with their requests. Anyway, what about a little patience? We could find something out any day - in the meantime, discussing those things which will not be named doesn't bring us any closer to a release which, as far as I know, is what everyone wants anyway.

if jarmo decides to censor the stuff we talk about is his decision, coz it's his board. i just think it's a little strange since, we aren't allowed to talk about the RSarticle, but you can find since the aurface of the article a mention on the CDpage of this site about 'sorry'. maybe the left hand doesn't know what the other does, idk.
