I remember Niatsie suffered a loss of conscience with his site. He threatened to take it down unless a member of GnR contacted him personally. Apparently Gilby Clarke was enough to satisfy his ego; Niatsie received a thank you from Gilby and the crisis was averted.

I personally checked out at that point. The incident said alot about this guy's character.

Who remembers LostRose.com? Was just running back through my gnr history and that site (along with this one  ) kept the hope alive, even when nothing was happening prior to 2002. Anyone else go on there? Does the guy who ran it post on here?

Lostrose.com was a pretty good site. I used to go there all the time in high school during business class, among many other GN'R sites as well. Man would my teacher be fucking pissed when she caught me on a GN'R site everyday, especially when I was supposed to be doing work. That was back in 2000 though, so it's been quite a fucking while. It's funny, when Axl did the Loder interview and the RS interview back then, it almost seemed like CD would be out soon and here we are 6 and almost 7 years later.

Sharon Osbourne has reporetedly met with Axl Rose of Guns 'N Roses over the past few weeks most recently at the Rock in Rio Festival where the band played before 200,000 fans. Axl has said he'll only do the tour if they move it from amplitheatres to stadiums which Sharon is in favor of. Ozzy has said last year was his last so G'NR would end up being the headliners. With the 3 stage set-up this year expect 2 stages outside the stadiums while the main stage will be inside and will feature 4-5 acts, rumored bands are:

yeah i also found this site from there. that had to be about 2000, cause i remember coming here all  the time when Oh My God got my excitement level up real high (where it has been all this time i guess.)

funny because i think this became my main source for GNR news when i lost my harddrive for a time and this was the site name i could remember. funny that i'd remember this one over some of the simpler ones.
