I think it would be weird if Axl just played through the set on Tuesday without any comments or info at all, like it was 2002 all over again.

I totally agree.? If he doesn't say anything what is the point of them touring?? If they want more people in the seats let them hear something new and they will be more excited about the upcoming shows.?

no but in regards to the topic, definitely, if it is the very first date of what is (supposed to be) the official-thats it-no  were serious this time-for real CHINESE DEMOCRACY world tour, they need to say something..whether it is a press release, an update on GNR.com, or an announcement on Axl onstage
