That is a fucking terrible idea. What the hell where you thinking Huh

I think GNR is a bit closer to the Sex Pistols than the headtwat of England. Monarchy is Bullshit!!

God save the queen a fascist regime it made you a moron a potential H-bomb
monarchy may well be bullshit, but calling the queen of england 'headtwat' is still right out, she's a little old lady for christ sake? Angry Sad rant

No special reason to be polite to these depraved people out of touch with reality and the people they are given the right by birth to "govern" throug garden parties and horseraces and hores arses. Little old lady? rofl rofl rofl

No no, I'm not taking a piss on Britain. All I'm trying to express is that I would be really dissapointed in GNR if the choose to play for the Queen of England or any other King or Queen (Besides The Queens Of the Stoneage) I live in a monarchy too, Sweden, what's the point of having a head of state that can't even spell his own name? Maybe the Queen of England can spell her name. But besides that what have she done to earn respect? She's totally not have deserved a GNR show in any way. Hell No!!!
Ridicule is what comes in the way of ridiculous people.  peace

If Guns N' Roses played for the Queen I would probably have to kill myself or wash my brain with acid to remove the memories.

"She got a smile that it seems to me / Reminds me of childhood royalty / Where everything revolved around Princess Di / Now and then when I stay up late / They take me away to a special place / It's called the kingdom of England / Whoa, oh oh oh Sweet United Kingdom of miiine / Whoa oh oh, yeah! / Oh, oh oh oh, Sweet Queenie of mine"

And then he kisses her as a gesture of gratitude.  no

Just thinking of it makes me feel dead inside.

Thanks, but that's nothing compared to the post I just made in the "CD Liner Notes" thread. I re-read it and honestly I think I may have just gone insane tonight and finally completely lost it.

I'm so very scared right now.  nervous

The threads on here appear to be getting more bizarre by the minute!

You do realise that you've just suggested that Axl has hitherto unknown necrophilic tendencies, given that HM The Queen Mother died in 2002?!? Hope you know a good lawyer.? ?Grin

Nevertheless, unlike yourself and some others who've posted, I believe that given the chance to perform for royalty, Axl would definitely accept - whether you approve or not.

I'm from England.

They'd never invite Axl Rose to perform for the queen.  rofl

No excuse for your lack of knowledge about the Queen Mother then.? Wink

I was thinking more along the lines of GNR participating in a charity concert or similar type of thing, for example, attended by a member of the royal family. ?Although I'd consider it less likely HM attended and more likely to be one of the more junior members of the family. ?Still a possibility though.

Yes, I can just see him now, bowing down to Her Majesty before duetting with the latest X Factor reject at the Royal Variety Show.

Perhaps they'll put him on after Ken Dodd.
