Not sure why management would want to shut down promotion of this album. To prevent leaks maybe, but that's almost impossible in this world. The only reason I can think of is that something has changed since the RS article was written. Perhaps a 2006 release has been scrapped, or maybe the album will not be released on a Tuesday but maybe Friday. Whatever it is, management is quick on removing anything related to the RS article. It's very odd.

people kinda have a reason to be overly concerned. some think Axl might flip out at the last minute and decide he needs to put more "final touches" on the cd. People are concerned that this could be a repeat of 2002. I think people's concerns are warranted.

I think everything is fine, they just have a different approach. Their approach doesn't make sense to the majority of us, but if it works for them then so be it- even if it does annoy and frustrate the hell out of us. Axl is probably just having fun with this now.
