It probably has something to do with the fact that management doesn't want this information out and they're very pissed with Rolling Stone and Rolling Stone doesn't give a fuck.  Jarmo doesn't wanna piss GNR off, so he's taking down all discussion of the article.

Seriously, would it be so much trouble to simply say "Management asked me to delete all the talk"?? Thats the only sensable reason I can think of for doing it, and its stupid not to tell your fellow board members whats up.

That's very very different.  The leaks are illegal.  Speaking about something that has been made public is very legal.

Of course, the first time the leaks surfaced, they were made public in several places... they were only deemed illegal and requested to be taken down by the band's management after they were made public.

If management doesn't want this to get out it, it will be off all of the boards and off rollingstone.com eventually.
