There are absolutely TONS of rock clubs in London. Go pick up the latest Kerrang or Metal Hammer and their are loads of ads for rock clubs. There's a great one at the Electric Ballroom in Camden but I can't remeber what it's called.

shame the Intrepid Fox has just closed - a wicked rock pub. plenty of good rock pubs in Camden still and at Mean Fiddler (used to be LA2) - they tend to put on some good rock nights:

The Barfly in camden and Koko laso put on bands relaly regularly and the Underworld in camden too might have something you like. Hop onto ebay and see if you can get tickets for anyone playing at the best venues in the world (hammersmith apollo, brixton academy, the astoria).
