I think the DJ will be there too. Wasn't there something on this new leg of shows that they wanted them to be "Rock N' Roll Parties"? I'm sure you'll have all of the above.

I'm pretty sure that was a tape at the Hammerstein shows... I could be wrong, but it seemed like the same songs in the same order on Friday and Wednesday nights...

papa roach sucks, i thought they were not playing worcester

Maybe you'd rather have Mixmaster Mike?

Hell yes I would. Some, not all Gn'R fans do not have an open mind when it comes to music and booed both MMM and CKY. If they would have listened, all MMM did was spin a lot of classic rock, and kind of chop it up? a bit. Plus MMM is the DJ for one of the best hip-hop bands of all time (Beastie Boys) CKY was good for the kind of music they play, short fast punk ,and not shitty "punk" like Fall Out Boy , Panic! etc. Now having listened to Papa Roach before and after having to see them as an opener before, I can safely say they blow. I hope that this is just Geffen trying to get one of their bands on the bill. PRoach are not seliing many tix at 100 a pop as the opener. Now AFI on the other hand, has loyal , rabid fans who would pay to see them in a 45 minute opening slot. And unlike Papa Roach, AFI does not suck.

Trivium would have been good, especially now that they dont have that growl in their music, they even sing the old songs.

Too bad they are busy in Europe.

Ya, because a lot of the GNR shows are not at 50% capacity. GnR doesn't need the ticket sales that AFI would bring Roll Eyes

I doubt trivium fans are laying down $100 a pop to see them play a 45 minute set.

I'm all for AFI opening some shows.

Just for the record, i think CKY was better than MMM. Like i said, when i go to a ROCK show i go to hear LIVE MUSIC, not some idiot spinning and scratching records.

It doesn't really matter who opens for GnR, people are still gonna bitch and moan. Everyone seems to be okay with Bach as an opener, but when it comes to having a "newer" band as an opener, everyone complains that all these modern bands suck. I'm convinced that some of you just simply won't allow yourself to like anything post-1994.

Papa Roach sings "Getting Away with Murder"  I think that's a great song and it'll be worth it just for that...now if Sebastian Bach sings 18 and life and youth gone wild, that'll really be great!  Does anyone know if he'll do those songs?

95% of Bach's set is Skid Row songs..

excellent, thanks for the info...the opening acts could be alot worse...PR and Sebastian Bach are odd choices, but decent ones.

Nobody's twisting your arm. Show up late. GnR won't go on til after 10. You'll still be able to push your way to that ever-so-precious front spot.
