CD Album Cover by Craig Howell?

I just go to his website... sorry i really don't like his style
way way? too metal and dark kind of design. GN'R is not Manowar or Cradle of Filth or MM a that kind of band. It doesn't fit with the image and the status of GN'R.? so:
1) i hope this information isn't true
2) if it is, I hope the guy designed something completely different of what's on his website.

have to agree, his style is good but not very Gn'R. Too much photo manipulation, blur, weirdness going on in most of it.

I just asked him if there was any truth to the rumor that he was doing the artwork/cover for CD. Pretty simple really. Given he's done a poster it's not unexpected. If he replies I'll let ya all know.

IF Craig is doing the CD cover....don't worry about what you'll get by comparing it simply to what's on his site. ?I've seen some of the guys other work and he's very talented and very diverse with his style. ?He very much caters to his clients so designs stuff with their "vibe" in mind. ?It's why he's so good at what he does. ?Just look at the GnR poster....VERY different than the stuff he did for Manson, for example.

Don't put the cart before the horse and worry about what he might do...wait it out and, if it's true, comment on the final product which, I'm betting, most of you would probably like.

No, The Use Your illusion covers look great (especially the blue one - wonderfull). GN'R Lies cover looks great. Even the GH cover looks great.
The GN'R logo on a grey font kicks ass and the whole packaging was very attractive too.

Lies is good, AFD is classic if a little plain. UYI looks good. Live Era is cool. TSI? is ok, does the job. GH is total shite!!!

yeah but on topic: if that poster is the cover, well something similiar to it because im sure itll be a little different.. that would be awesome! that is an extravagent piece of art right there!
