Next to the stage, 131 row 10 I think.  I don't have the ticket on me but I think I remember it saying something like "1FAN" on the ticket...must be something to do with ordering through their website and automatically qualifying for their fan club.

Im making the 5 hour trip from here in illinois to see the best band of all time...Is there any Prepartys going on ? Does anyone know if the Gateway Hotel & Conference Center? is in walking distance to the hilton ?

I just booked a room there..
 I would say its about a 15 min walk to Hilton.. I went into the parking lot and drove to Hilton last week , its about a 2 min drvive with no traffic and hitting the 2 green lights..

no reliable cab service, everyone walks or takes a bus in ames. Ames cops are real anal about drunks driving, but tend to look the other way in regards to drunks walking  beer
