Iv'e heard it, its shit, nine inch nails style of sound on some songs.

Can someone kick this guy's ass over the Internet? Thanks.

I have membership to UG, just so you guys know:

UG pretty much copy and pastes its articles from other sources, its almost secondhand news, if i read it on here, it pops up on there 3 days later.

Unoffical update yay! Shocked

It says according to Rollingstones.com, and if GNR haven't said it, it's a rumor.  Don't get your hopes up.  Believe it when you see it.

Here Today...And Back Tommorrow

« Reply #623 on: October 09, 2006, 06:39:12 PM »

There are numerous indications pointing to november.

Axl said 2006 definately is the year, several times.
GNR.com said it would be released on one of the remaining tuesdays of the year.
Fortus, I think, said it would be released during the North American tour.
Rolling Stones had got information on a November release.
Assuming the break up to 20 oct. is for the last finishing touches and mastering.
December is too late from a marketing point of view.

If all this holds true we will have a date within 2 weeks.

There is really a problem with some posters' deductive powers. I'm sorry but none of these points hints at a november release, not even the RS article, as we have no reason to believe it more than to disbelieve it.
As me mam always says, patience is a virtue.

Well they better release some info soon, its getting crunch time, and after tomorrow there are only 11 Tuesdays left.

I just cant see this album doing good if they dont have some kind of promotion.

Whats funny is even if this is not the right date, its still giving them promotion for the album, its getting talked about everywhere. Its really sad that RS is doing more to promote this album than the GNR camp, and this is just a "rumor".

To be honest im getting sick of the games. It was exciting at first but fucking announce the release date for christ sakes. If they plan on releasing it this year you cant tell me they dont know date already. Most bands announce the release date usually at least 6 months in advance, and GNR has 2 and a half months left and they havent said anything.

Dont get me wrong, I know this is GNR, and they like to do shit their own way, but its just starting to get a bit annoying to me.

Guns N Roses to release album in November?
'Chinese Democracy' rumoured to be ready
Guns n' Roses are rumoured to be releasing a new album this year.

The band's much delayed 'Chinese Democracy' record has been the subject of much speculation after frontman Axl Rose indicated he has been working on the record for nearly a decade.

The group's recent return to playing live - including a series of tours and festival appearance - has increased the anticipation of the album's impending release and now internet reports have claimed the record will be out next month.

The possibility of 'Chinese Democracy' appearing in November rose after the band announced a series of tour dates - kicking off in Jacksonville on October 20 - and ended their statement with the cryptic phrase: "There are 13 Tuesdays left between now and the end of the year", referring to the day of the week that albums come out in America.

Now Rolling Stone have claimed the record will finally see the light of day on November 21 (suggesting the possibility of a UK release for November 20).

This date however has not been confirmed by Guns n' Roses label or management so far.

In the meantime the band are set to play the following North American dates:

Jacksonville Vets Memorial Arena (October 20)
Nashville Gaylord Entertainment Center (22)

NO bands tell about a release date 6months in advance.. 1-2months is the norm.. 6months before, their still working on it/may give a ballpark like "end of year" etc..

Actually, it's not going to be released tomorrow. So that's 10 Tuesdays, next Tuesday is unlikely (Too quick) so that's 9 Tuesdays, Nov 21st we are told is out, so really we're down to 8 Tuesdays left.  Grin

You name me one band that gave the date 1-2 months in advance?? Bands usually give it anywhere between 4-6 months, NEVER 1-2, you're wrong.

"normal" bands give it early so they can get iot promoted.

Id say the earliest ive ever seen it announced was probably 3 months before the date.

Megadeth just had an online chat and Dave said his album would be out in March, thats 5 1/2 months from now.

Maybe this is part of the strategy--just release it, drop it, with little notice. It will be like bam! If there is a long wait, maybe it will give the haters time to vent their anti-Axl agenda.

yeah, we'll get like a weeks notice, or an announcement on Friday and an CD the next Tuesday.
