I'm betting he will like it. Aerosmith has always been a huge supporter of gnr and axl.

Rockpages.gr: When should we expect your next studio album?

Tom Hamilton: Oh, I don?t know! (laughs) The band is kinda working individually for the time being. So, we haven?t gathered as a group to listen to everyone?s ideas?but that will happen soon. We?ll probably do that in the next month or two and hopefully when we tour next year we will have a studio album out to support! I am pretty optimistic about it! I?ve been in my studio recording riffs and making a pile of cool sounds which I think they could be useful to the band.

Rockpages.gr: So, we won?t have a ?Chinese Democracy? case?

Tom Hamilton: (laughs) No, I got a feeling that we are gonna get to the finish line before Axl. (laughs) But, I?ll tell you this?when ?Chinese Democracy? comes out I will be the first to come out and buy it! I have a tremendous respect for the guy and I think he is a superb singer! I really admire the fact that he is a perfectionist, although he certainly takes his time!

that's way cool.

According to BostonHerald.com, AEROSMITH will handle the induction honors when pioneering Queens, N.Y., rap group RUN-D.M.C. enters the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April.

"They're like gods of rock," RUN-D.M.C.'s Darryl "D.M.C." McDaniels told BostonHerald.com. "People think that we did 'Walk This Way' to get white people. We did [a version of AEROSMITH's] 'Walk this Way' because before rap records was made, we used to always have to find beats to rap over. So we used a lot of JAMES BROWN, but that AEROSMITH beat was one of our favorites to freestyle over.

"So we did 'Walk This Way', it did what it did for the music, then we did the video, which literally broke down the wall, so it'd be dumb not to have them induct us, because of what we did together and who they are. They're legends, like pioneers."

Aerosmith Toy Missing From The Attic
by Paul Cashmere - June 16 2009

Aerosmith`s bold move to perform their classic `Toys In The Attic` album live has hit a snag. Steven Tyler cannot sing the last song anymore.

?You See Me Crying? has become too difficult for Tyler to recreate.

Aerosmith announced they were taking the album on tour and playing in from start to finish but it ain?t gonna happen folks.

?Toys In the Attic? gave us their now classic ?Sweet Emotion?.

Aerosmith will do the album for another two weeks and then switch to the follow-up, 1976?s ?Rocks?.

figured he would have the same trouble on "Home Tonight" as "You see me Crying" though...they could have just slowed "You see me Crying" down and did an alternate version that he could sing...

So what are they doing right now?  Playing the rest of the album and stopping before the last song, or is he attempting "You See Me Crying" for the next two weeks only?

Someone said they went to see them the other night and they played all the album except for that song.  They play other songs too, not just the sos from Toys.

I assumed that considering the album doesn't run for that long...  I'm also under the impression that when they say they are playing all of "Toys in the Attic", they mean they are playing it according to the tracklist.

I agree with Bodhi, they could just alter the way the play the song.  I guess it doesn't matter, Rocks is good too.  It just seems like more trouble for the band to switch albums mid-tour.

They're both relatively short albums, and it probably helps prevent them from tiring of playing one.

I was thinking the same thing when I read that. Home Tonight isn't exactly the easiest song for a 61 year-old to sing....

Steven Tyler Broke Shoulder In Concert Fall
by Paul Cashmere - August 8 2009

Steven Tyler really hurt himself when he fell on stage in Dakota this week. The Aerosmith singer broke his shoulder.

Tyler was three songs into the set while performing the Aerosmith classic ?Love In An Elevator? when he tripped and fell during the Buffalo Chip Campground concert in South Dakota on Wednesday night.

Guitarist Joe Perry has now revealed is now back home in Boston and being attended to by his own doctor.

The 61-year old singer was dancing around the sound crew who were trying to replace a blown fuse during the song.

Amateur video captured the singer?s accident.

The band has cancelled their Winnipeg show and the remaining 18 dates on the tour now also seem uncertain.

An announcement of the future of the band is expected in coming days.

Watch what happened here:

AEROSMITH Cancels Remainder Of Summer Tour

Legendary rockers AEROSMITH have canceled the remainder of their summer tour, it was announced today.

Due to injuries Steven Tyler sustained last week when he fell from the stage during a concert in Sturgis, South Dakota, doctors have advised the lead singer to take the time to properly recuperate from the accident that resulted in a broken shoulder and stitches to his head. In his current condition, Tyler is unable to tour and the band wants to give him time to get healthy.

Steven Tyler -- Down, But Out on a Liquor Run

Posted Aug 16th 2009 1:50AM by TMZ Staff

Aerosmith may have cancelled the rest of their tour because of Steven Tyler's broken shoulder, but the 61-year-old rocker managed to remain upright long enough to make a run to a local liquor store.
