Please use the thread Slash in Volkswagon commercial ?in the "Velvet Revolver" section please.

Why? the article refers to him as "Guns N' Roses guitarist"  rofl This is hilarious. Everyone ws expecting CD promo to start now and yet an add runs durring the playoffs featuring Slash and the article even goes on to refer to him as Gn'R guitarist. At least there's no false perception out there with who's in the band. Sure NOBDY is going to these shows expecting to see the old band. Roll Eyes

A few of my friends text me saying they saw slash, and asked why he is on some commercial now.  I responded "because the real band is getting ready to become the biggest band in the world again..."  Let slash do a ford commercial with that no talent grey hair american idol boob...good for slash

I don't have a problem with Slash doing commercials  but  this commercial  reminded me a lot of that car commercial  with the American Idol  guy .  I hated that  commerciall with a passion .

VW and First Act are rolling out a three-month national television, radio, and print campaign to promote the innovative car-guitar package. The TV spots, which premiere tomorrow , feature Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash, singer-songwriter John Mayer, and Christopher Guest (in full ``Spinal Tap" Nigel mode) jamming through their car speakers.

shouldn't that read Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash

Yeah, I saw it!  It's funny because with the MLB/GNR connection now, I was hoping for something GNR related and then there's Slash!  Cheesy

I'm with ya!  You never know what you're going to see during the playoffs and WS.  I sure didn't expect to see Audioslave before the game either.  Audioslave and Slash were both added bonuses to great game!  Grin ok
