To be honest, I couldn't care less about Myspace. However, I know how tremendously popular that site/culture has become in the digital age that we live in. I also realize that as trivial as it may seem... winning in their 'Best Band' category (if only for this month) would both share and promote GNR to an entirely new audience... and to a very large number of people in general. Even keeping them in the top ten wouldn't hurt at this point, so I keep voting. ?peace

This thing isnt even affiliated with myspace though, the only people that are gonna see it are the other people who are voting, who are already intent on voting for their favorite band. Yes its good to see GnR up there, but i'm not going out of my way to vote.

Well, the 1st day we started this campaign we had 45 votes.  I would say we gave a pretty good effort here.  Obviously by the amount of votes we put in and the amount of votes other bands have this site gets a lot of traffic. 

Kudos to those who have voted who brought this from nothing to over 8000 votes! ok

No, but it could drive people to GNR's myspace site and have them realize that things are happening with this band. 

While it isn't concrete it still is a positive thing, IMO-
