well I hope it's not some local band.. although that will give me another reason to drink $5 watered down draught..haha
I want a name coming to town with.. not just a filler. No offense to any of the local bands.

Sum 41? They're big gnr fans. Aren't they pretty popular up north still? I know all their albums go platinum in Canada.

I dunno if GNR's audience would accept Sum 41. I have no idea who it could be quite frankly. To the other guy Whitesnake have many similarities to Poison. Yes I have heard both bands. Of course the songs aren't the same. I never said one band ripped off the other I just mean they're two bands in the same genre with a lot of the same fans and the similiar style and image. It's not an insult I'm just saying I don't think Axl likes that kinda stuff.

The only thing similar about Whitesnake and Poison is they both had hits in the 80's.. oh yeah and that there are guys in both bands.
Not sure how old some of you are.. but maybe you should check it out.

SUM 41... I would surely be in the concession area drinking. Bands like those all sound like Wierd Al trying to be serious.... GARBAGE!

The Trews are fine but not for that slot... plus it's a local band that I can go see any other weekend or so it seems.

Priestess would be good. I'm not from Canada but I know they are I know they are a great rock and roll band. They probably could handle opening the show myspace.com/priestessband if you havent heard them
