Hi All,

I know the Sky news cameras were there but I heard rumours that Hammersmith gig was going to be put out on a DVD as a special, anyone know of this, I have the bootleg but would love to have the DVD.

Cheers,
Alex

They passed out a legal disclaimer at the gig informing us that all recordings of the performance are owned by GN'R.

I guess it could mean that they filmed it and we were warned about it in advance?

Would be wonderful- best gig I've ever been to by a mile, and would be perfect on DVD. I was near the front though, and I didn't see any cameras on stage recording like you might expect to, unless they're going to go for a very underproduced lo-fi look to the performance. That might suit nicely!

From what I remember they had 2 big cameras either side of the balcony, plus 2 down near the front....

they were deffinatly recording the gig and were quite strong rumors at the time they were also filming the crowds queuing up outside so we will just have to wait and see, it could be over a year before we hear anything.

Were the disclaimers not passed out at every gig, if so cool i very special item in my scrapbook Tongue my mum binned it not long after i got back from the gig, made her fish it out Smiley

They were filming the crowds outside, where I was in the queue loads of us were interviewed. Remember they also filmed us from the stage chanting Guns n' Roses about an hour before the band came on.

Usually it says on the ticket stubs, that by entering the arena you kind of waiver any rights regarding being filmed.

I certainly never signed anything, and as i did the bit on knocking on heavens door, i would have expected that if anyone needed to sign anything, it should be me.

I contacted bumblefoot a while back about the footage from the show and this was what i got in reply. He uses the text in my message and inserts his answers.

RE: I Sung heavens door in london

Body:    << just thought id say that it was me that got the privelage of singing with you and the gn'r boys at hammersmith .

EXCELLENT ! !

<< I know george chin has no pictures or footage, but i was wondering if there was any on video at the bands end.

Not that I know of - but I haven't seen any footage... would be really cool to see if it exists Smiley

If GnR has official footage, I'm guessing they wouldn't give it up as it would be considered their copyrighted material... Tongue Which song was it again?

See you (hear you!) in Glasgow ! Cheesy

Its doesnt look like it, but you never know, perhaps he just hadnt seen anything of it.
