Was just on ticketmaster, and you can no longer get 2 tickets together for the GNR show on 11/10...guess it's almost sold out

According to an email from Live Nation:

"Guns N' Roses have just sold out the world renowned Madison Square
Garden (Nov 10) and it won't be long until New Jersey's Continental
Airlines Arena (Nov 5) reaches capacity as well."

Should be an awesome show! ok

Some more of the canadian shows should be soon to follow.  Plus I think they have chance to sell out the 3 ampitheatre shows in LA, and Chicago.

in 2002 MSG sold out in 15 minutes....this makes no sense....anyone?

One things' for sure,
Mr. Axl Rosenberg picked a wrong nite to play in front of the largest Jewish audience outside of Israel.
It's Friday Nite, time to light the Sabbath candles & chill out for me. Grin

I'll be seeing him & his GNR at Continental Airlines Arena on Sunday Night 11.5.2006

It will be a great show. I recommend all non-Jews to see this show.
I hope there the set list is 40-60, new to old material. In other words, maybe 3 new songs to the mix for 6-7 songs.

MNW

I'm not going to get into a discussion about religion, but what you just said is not only dumb, it's almost offensive. I'm a jew myself, and I'm going to the MSG show, regardless of what day they're playing on. And to say "I recommend all non-jews see the show" is horrible. As if all jews should stay home because it's the sabbath? I don't think so. I'm not a practicing jew so sabbath means very little to me, and I'm sure many other jews feel the same and will be in attendance that night at the Garden. If you're not going to the show because of religious beliefs, you should keep them to yourself.

Chill out & have some Manischewitz, it'll calm you down.
Just trying to be funny - have a sense of humor for once.

I'm jewish, and i feel pretty guilty about going to this show, I'm going anyways but besides the point, it would be very wrong for me to recommend another jew to going to this show. me going is bad enough.

There's nothing wrong with what mark said, if he would have started preaching how evrey jew that goes to the show deserves death, that would be a little offensive. but the fact that he only reccomends this show for non-jews is pretty commendible.

to practising Jews; the Sabbath is sacred.  And the poster has a point that NYC has the highest Jewish poulation outside of israel and if you expand that to NY;NJ;CT; probably a higher jewish population than Israel.

if you're not a practising jew, why bother commenting on a practising Jew's concert going habits......you should Lips Sealed

Here's a better idea. If you wanna stay at home cause you value your religion, do that. If you value the best friggin' band in the entire world, Guns N' Roses, and wanna rock out at a now sold out MSG show, do that instead.

Now everyone is happy
