Including me, I've got a group of 5 coming up to Jersey for the Nov 5 show.? I've got another guy who wants to go, but it looks like GA is sold out.? If anyone here at the board has someone pull out or has an extra GA seat, I can get you face value plus fees which I think is about $105.? ?Thanks folks!? ?peace

i might have an extra for you...i bought 4 seats and I think only 3 people will be going with us...I'll find out for sure in the next couple days if you'd like?

Hi,
This is my first post, although I have enjoyed reading this board since sometime in March.
I have an extra pair of tickets for the November 5th show at the Meadowlands.
They are on the floor.
Section 1, row S. Seats 3 and 4.
This is one of the three sections on the floor with seats behind the GA area. According to the seating chart, this section is to the right of the mixing board. I paid $207.40 for the two...the ticket price, plus all of Ticketmaster's wonderful extra charges (Just what is the "convenience charge" for !?!?!?). I'm not scalping them, I would just like to get the amount I paid for them.
I should be getting them in the mail soon. If you live in Central or Northern NJ, I'd be willing to meet somewhere to make the money/ticket exchange. If interested, please PM me.
Thanks,
Tom

Yeah - that's how much two tickets for me came to as well with the damn "convenience fees" - what's so convenient about those fees anyway?  rofl

After shipping...223.? Bastards.

I have them send them to me via regular mail. I can't see paying extra for shipping.  rant
What I think is really screwed up on their part is that Ticketmaster charges a premium if you want your tickets emailed to you. It probably costs them LESS than sending the tickets in the mail, but they figure people are willing to pay for getting the tickets instantly.

Yeah, its unfortunate.  I bought tickets for a friend in NM and I'm in PA... so I wanted them fast so he could book his flight, hotel, etc.

Good point.  It seems people have been inconsistent in their reports...  some say selling well, others claim to be getting great seats...  I guess it depends what time of day they check

in 2002 MSG sold out in 15 minutes....this makes no sense....anyone?

LMFAO

Put it this way, they have sold more tickets during the first four days of it being on sale, than they did in 2002.  That was a press release sell out--papered.   BTW, MSG is a few hundred tickets away from being sold out right now.  If anyone would check ticketmaster for availibility for lower level tickets in 2002, and compare it to this tour, there is a huge difference.  Overall, ticket sales are doing way better.  I mean, way better than 2002!!  Many of the shows in 2002 had like 6000 people at them.  I think, already, every show barring Fresno and Bakerfield (two smaller markets) have sold more than that already.  I think GNR, also, get a huge walk-up at the gate, when many people find out they are playing due to heavy media on the day of the show, or waited until showtime to buy tickets because they did not know if they would show up.  Really, though, MSG is virtually sold out as we speak.  Count your blessings, that the fans were able to get tickets this time, as opposed to the papering that happened in 2002.  One other point, in 2002, GNR did not play across the bridge at the Meadowlands.  They are this year.

Not really when you compare selling out in 15 minutes in 2002 but taken nearly a week (and counting) to sell out now. Surely People should be going nuts over seeing GnR but no wait as said no promo no single no album, the excitement and buzz of GnR being "back" (I use that word loosely) faded after the 2002 tour collasped and now more then ever they need the album if they want this tour to sell well.

yeah true but as was pointed out by holtzmn73 & Minneapolisnewsman they played four shows in NYC 4 months ago and there is a venue very near with virtually the same seating capacity selling at the same time...it'll be sold out no doubt who cares how long it takes? Undecided
