The question would be..will Axl and crew finish the show before midnight, I'd say No..since it's Friday night / Saturday morning.

No kidding. Even if they come on at the scheduled time, they'll only be done around midnight - if it's like Hammerstein they may still be playing at 2am.

At most if worse comes to worse the show will be done by nearly 2am.
I think it was around 1:40am when they did the last Hammerstein Ballroom show.

In other words...it's gonna be quite a semi quiet evening at BB Kings till 2am.

I was just thinking the same thing. God knows when they'll take the stage and/or finish the set. Motley Crue tribute band after party sounds like a great idea, and I'd love to go, but what if the show does on until 2am...will the tribute band wait up? lol

I just bought three  tickets within the last hour which were better than the two pairs I already had.

I know a lot of folks are planning on going for a pre-party, but has anyone actually called yet to see if we can reserve that upper level again?

MSG is much more strict about their curfew which i think is at 11:30,  Hammerstien's was 1am

I would hate to see what your earlier tickets were.  It's to the back rows now, and will be full shortly, besides "1's" and "2's" which will free up for various reasons.  It is going to be rocking in there!!!

i just tried to get tickets through ticketmaster for MSG and it said there were none available.

guess the show is techincally sold out now. (as far as ticketmaster is concerned).

you can still get tickets through gunsnroses.com but only in the higher sections.

floor is gone, and ill see you all there.

Hello folks,
Nov. 5th question...I've never been to a show at CAA.  Is it within walking distance of bars?  Is it a tail-gate drinking-fest (that wouldn't disappoint me to be honest with you), but does anyone have any idea???  My group of 5 is planning on making a great day of it!  I'm looking forward to meeting some HTGTH members as well.  Please let me know how it works at CAA, thanks!   peace

There are two hotels within walking distance of the CAA - both have bars inside - so you should be in good shape
Definitely an outdoor fest though

Enjoy

The funny thing is even though MSG is a bigger venue I would bet you'd have less turnout at Mustang Harry's  for a preparty. The Hammerstein shows were special because there were so many fans from out of town and from the internet sites that Mustang's just added to the experience. Most people at the MSG show won't be from these sites and they'll mostly be New Yorkers who probably won't care about going to Mustang's. I had a great time there but for these reasons I would think maybe the atmosphere won't be quite the same or as good. I thin the lack of response to this thread is also an indication of that. Hopefully for you guys it is though. peace

Cool!  So tail-gating is allowed??  Awesome!  Any confirmation on this?  Do cops or security have any problems with folks drinking and doing barbecue in the parking lot?
