Can someone pick me up some tickets on Saturday please?  I'm getting married that day.  Not sure if I'll be able to get to a computer.  This is going to ruin the honeymoon if I don't get tickets.

Wow..$89.50 for floor is kinda steep.

I think I'll be going with the lower level for $59.50...

According to the seating chart, the red section (first elevated level) is $59.50, right? Or am I reading it wrong?

I think so.? I will be going for these as well because me being on a seated floor is useless unless I am in the 1st 2 rows because I am all of 5 ft. 2 and I always wind up with some giants in front of me.?

That red section is practically on top of the floor level anyway.  If you can get seats on the side there you will be REALLY close, much better than being in the back of the floor.  I was in that area for Billy Joel not too long ago and I was amazed at how close I was!

I just hope that the lower level there isn't considered $89.50 as well - is lower level usually cheaper than floor, Bandita?

Sometimes that section is equally as expensive as the floors but it is a much better view than being at the back of the floor if you can get a side seat there.  The one where the numbers run from like the 50s to the 70s they are super close to the floor level, I don't really know for sure though how they will price that area I am only speculating like you-

I guess we won't know til they actually go on sale.  Wish I could be more helpful.

What is true though is that if you don't like what ticketmaster gives you on the 1st shot you can let those tix go and sometimes you even get better ones on the second try, just have a map of the venue open so you can see what they are offering you.  There is no ryhme or reason to what they consider to be better tickets.  For instance, they think that say the 1st level in the back is better than say the 200 level on the side.  In reality I would rather be on an upper level that is closer to the stage, ya know what I mean?

I might run into you at some shows... I'm probably doing the 5, 10 and 13th dates.. so maybe we can say hello at MSG or NJ.   beer

That's the scary part, I can't really afford to drop $100 on tickets, but I also don't want to be in the nosebleeds either!

Or a pre-party if someone is kind enough to organize one!  I will wear my new red babydoll HTGTH shirt to at least one of the shows so I should be hard to miss!  Or anyone going can contact me for my MySpace page....ahh hell I will just throw it in my profile.  beer

will there be saints among as like last time who'll buy extra tickets and sell em to fellow gunners at face value instead of leaving us to resort to ebay or scalpers?

Its MSG last time they went onstage between 10-10:30. Shows at the Garden have to be over by 12 because ofUnion constraints

no lower section near the stage is allways the same price as floor

From my past experience with MSG that is usually the case unless you are seeing the Rolling Stones or something who charge $400 to be on the floor.? Lower levels near the stage are much better for view anyway, IMO.? I would rather pay the 89 bucks to sit there then somewhere that isn't the direct front of the floor.?

And yes, MSG and Continental arena are pretty strict on time caps for shows.? You are right about that one-

Also, even the 300s sections aren't that bad at MSG if you are to the side of the stage-they only suck if you are in the back at the furthest point from the stage-

Just stay away from the 400 sections, they really SUCK

So I'm guessing the 100 sections (which I'm guessing will be the $60 tickets) are pretty decent then?

I must be losin' my mind - are you blind?

« Reply #99 on: September 27, 2006, 10:43:02 AM »

I'm totally confused - everything I've read says tickets go on sale Saturday at 9am.  I was assuming that was regular ticket sales.  If that is the case, when will the presale be...?  I don't understand how tickets can be on sale in 3 days without the date even being listed on Ticketmaster yet.  Also, when did people get the email for the presale last time around...?  Morning of?

Thanks for any info, & I look forward to seeing EVERYONE at Mustang Harry's again!!!   beer
