I wonder if this livenation presale is a password going out to all livenation.com message board folks or if it will be something else....

THe MSG floor plan says GA, but NJ has assigned seating/floor sections.? Anyone else find this strange?

If they let a GA happen at MSG for GNR I will be very shocked.?

not really cause there two totallyt different types of venues

Not really, the size and capacity are probably close.

What I mean is that this is something they generally do not allow at MSG.  Not to mention live nation has all tickets listed as reserved seating.  They are reliable with their information as they generally hook right into ticketmaster if you go to purchase tickets.  They may have just used the wrong map of MSG, there is another one that shows the floor sectioned.

http://www.ticketmaster.com/seatingchart/237569/1453

This is probably the correct map of how the seating will be at MSG

Both MSG and Continental arena have approx. a 20k capacity for concerts ok

Better not be all seats otherwise I dont think I'll go. I feel like a fag standing in a confined area like that during a show.

It will end well after 11:39.  hihi  When I saw them at the Hammerstein just down the street, I drove in and parked.  It was easy as hell.  $26 for parking, split between 3 guys, that's nothing!  It was easy in for the pre-show party, and easy out after the post-show.
Relax and make a night of it!!!

Uhh he won't even hit the stage before then.

I drive in, park on the UWS in a residential area and take the subway from the Museum of Natural History right into Penn.? No parking fees!? ok

Garages in the MSG area can cost up to $80 the night of a show.  So if you plan on using one, go a few avenues down and the rates will decrease accordingly-

If you are going to the NJ show they are going to hit you with at least a 15 to 20 buck fee to park your car and there isn't anything you can do to get out of that.

Suck on That

I just went to live nation.com and here are the prices

Continetial Airlines-
Reserved 1: $79.50
Reserved 2: $59.50
Reserved 3: $39.50

Madison Square Garden
Reserved 1: $89.50
Reserved 2: $59.50
Reserved 3: $49.50

and it had a map of the gardens seatin plans and it said it will be general admission, these prices are pretty reasonable considering how much tickets are in these days, i went and saw crue/aerosmith about 2 weeks ago and it was 75 and just barley in front of lawn and i paid 75 4 bon jovi and was in nosebleeds in giant stadium so 90$ for the best seats is great but hey 200 for the best seats at a GNR show is great

If they have GA at MSG I will eat my cowboy hat I just bought in Vegas, I really think they are just using the wrong seating map.  Live Nation also states both shows are reserved seating.  Maybe someone should give a call to the venue manana to clear this one up-

As much as I enjoy a GA show I really don't think they allow this at MSG any longer-

Just checked out the website for this place.  Looks good and is right in the area.  Will definitely check this out before the show!
