did anyone else hesitate about buying tickets off gunsnroses.com??? it says something about no refunds or exchanges. all sales are final. that would suck if everything got cancelled.

The only thing I didn't like about buying them through gunsnroses.com was the mandatory shipping charge, with ticketmaster you can atleast get it emailed to you.

Ticketmaster is offering a Premium Reserve Seat Auction on sale Friday at 10:00.? It looks like they are auctioning off sections 129.130,113 and 112 rows A & B.

I think you bid for these seats.? Go to Ticketmaster for more info.

Yeah, according to the venue, there will be risers infront of the permanent seating.I imagine that is what they are auctioning off too...so 5th(row E) seats for each section that someone bought at gnr.com will actually be like 10th row. I am not going to cry, but I am going try and get the "premium" seats for the Iowa show though.

I think that Ticketmaster still charges a "Shipping Charge" for emailing you electronic tickets, as wierd as it may sound. All tickets places find a way to add on additional charges.

Did Target Center tell you they were adding riser infront?  Is this in front of sections 129, 130, 113 and 112?  I just got an email from target center telling me they know nothing about the action this is a ticketmaster thing.

Yes, via email. Risers would be in front of all the reserved seating. ? If you look at the tickets.com venue seating chart, you will see a small section kind of sticking out in section 129 and continuing along the rest of the reserved seating.? I am assuming that those are the risers she was talking about. I hope my contact doesn't know shit and they actually arent going to be risers, but looking at this particular venue seating chart, it is concievable.

Hmm, i could be totally wrong, but I do think I remember there being risers at the 2002 show...int's only like 6 rows though, they extend from the floor up too the main rail, so nothing to be worried about.

Yeah, I am not too worried...just kind of bumbed that my "5th row" seats are really like 10th row. Not a huge deal.  My contact did say the risers would be 5 rows, then my seats would be 5 rows up from that. Sucks they didnt sell the riser seats for the presale. Or maybe they did and they all sold quick or something.

I contact Target Center and asked her if my front row seat would still be front row and here is her response (I am in section 111)

"They will be front row seats.  Sometimes when they have reserved seating on the floor they will put raisers in front of some of the section, but this time they are not."

So we have conflicting accounts.

Nice, I am going to choose to believe your contact then..seem to make sense about the reserved floor seating rationale..5th row baby!! haha  I doubt they would put risers only in front of my section, but who knows.

The riser section is sec 102 rows 1-10. I had seats there when I saw GNR at the Target Center back in '92, if your tickets don't say sec 102 row 1-10 then you are not in the rise section, these are actually really good setas though because you can easily see over everyone on the floor.

Didn't they have reserved seating on the floor for that show?  She said they do that with reserved seating but with GA floor, they are not doing that with this show.  Who knows.

There have been some updates to Target Center since the last GnR show there so hopefully the sound will be better than last time.  I saw Tool there last month and they sounded good.  Still wish it was at Xcel Center instead though.  I'm going with my wife so we got reserved seats, otherwise I would have done GA.  2fer1's at Brothers before the show...A quick cocktail at NBA City on the way in...  Any word on who will be playing between Bach and GnR?

Is this a full concert or half concert?  Anybody know?  I'm glad to hear Target Center has done updates to the sound system.  I was in the first 10 rows for the 02' and it sound ed fine but some of my friends were far away and they said it sounded shitty.

It has to be full house.  They are selling sections 129, 130, 113 and 112 and these sections are not in half house seating.

Why are there so many saying that they would prefer to see them at Excel?  I was hoping that with Target Center being smaller you would get a better view of the band etc.

Its is a full concert. If it was a half house I would not have been able to buy tickets in the section that I did. I kind of wish is was a half house so they would have a chance at another "sold out" concert to add to their press releases.

Its just a better venue IMO. Better acoustics, and the seating is much better.

have a good problem to have.  To my surprise, more of my friends actually want to go to the show even with the higher ticker prices.  Unfortunately I only got 4 tickets, 2 tickets short.  Did anyone get any tickets in section 129, either row D, E, or F? I have 4 tickets in row E seats 11-14.  I am looking get a couple more tickets around those seats.  If anyone has any extra tickets around that section, please let me know as I would like to try and work something out with you.  Thanks.

Hey guys, check out www.93x.com? you can of course listen to win tickets, but the funny thing is you can qualify to win a guitar signed by Slash.

EDIT: I was just listening to 93x online, and they had a commercial for Gn'R, and at the end they said listen and win Slash's guitar, followed by a clip of Slash saying something along the lines of Hey, it's Slash from Guns N' Roses and you're listening to 93x" ........lol, talk about misleading
