For what it is worth, I've never seen one of these concerts in a movie theatre before. I know Green Day did it awhile back.

No. This is for the USA, not UK.

Once the "buy tickets" button goes up, then you will be able to enter your zip code and figure out where it will be playing that night. Go to the Rod Stewart show and press "buy tickets" and enter your zip code. Maybe those theaters will be the same ones showing Download.

I saw a korn big screen concert one time. Was pretty cool, but apparently most the time they do these, they never promote them and theres only like 5 people that show up.

It's probably the same footage that has been shown on Channel 4 or Kerrang over here.  Couple of songs and an interview in most cases with quite a few of the bands on over the Download festival.  There were a couple of GnR songs and an interview with Baz, that's about it.  Fucking shame though as it was an amazing weekend and should be available in full, downloadable sets some place as it was all recorded.  Surely wouldn't be that hard to do.

That's pretty cool. U2 filmed a show on the Vertigo tour last year in Buenos Aires  I believe, and it's supposed to come to IMAX.  Gn'R on the big screen would be pretty cool. ok

These are AWESOME!!!!!

Korn may have had 5 people but Bon Jovi did this and had hundreds of thousands all over the US go.

Regal Cinemas usually do these kinds of concerts.

I went To Bon Jovi's to coincide with their release of Have A Nice Day and it was great

about 200 people in the theater and people were dancing and goin crazy in the theater, it was wild!

Tickets were like 20 bucks but well well worth it

It featured full length interviews with the band about the CD and then an amazing concert of new songs and just about every hit u can imagine.

So it would be awesome if GNR did one around the release of CD.
