I just checked ticketmaster as I have everyday for the past week to see how the shows are selling and MSG tickets are no longer available!!!! bad ass

i guess the promotion was good enoughto get it sold out, I guess we won't have to worry about GNR's ability to promote the album ... or maybe we will.

yeah the garden sold out in 15 minutes in 2002, but you have to factor in that it was the first and only GNR show in nyc in about 10 years...this year they played Hammerstein 4 times, so alot of people saw them there, and they are playing continental in NJ which is literally like 10 to 15 minutes away....so the demand for the garden is lower this time around, the fact that it is still pretty much sold out and continental is selling well is good news Smiley

they should do fine in major markets -- it's all the smaller cities on this tour that I think will be a tougher sell without some firm album promotion.
