North American tour setlist wishes, guesses & speculation

well, im hoping that since my show is a later show, Everett on the dec 10th, that the album might be out or damn near n theyll be playing a lot more new songs...but to be honest i couldnt give that much of a fuck, be the best show ever for me since i have never been to a guns n' roses concert and im totally fukin obsessed lol.

You sumed it all up very nicely here my friend - November 8th at the Centrum will be my first GNR show - my first live concert (in an arena) as a matter of fact.
But here is my two cents.

Drop:
Live & Let Die (So commercial, so Greatest Hits) - I am not too fond of this song.

Add:
There Was A Time
Civil War - MAYBE my all time favorite GNR song
Don't Damn Me - Highly unlikely

***Knockin' On Heaven's Door Is Awesome IMO - Some stuff has to change, and this version rocks.
***Don't Cry would be nice, but I would rather Civil War.
***Coma & Estranged would fucking kick ass as a second ENCORE..... After Paradise City (the first encore) Break into Coma then Estranged. Holy shit, I would fucking go crazy....

I would like to see more UYI stuff in their shows, but hey - whatever AXL wants to play is fine with me, all their stuff rocks. But I must say, someone above said something about "You Ain't The First" - - - - - -

I'd like them to drop Brownstone (unless Izzy is there, it's his song, and I've never been a huge fan of it live either way) LALD (I like it better live, but it's still probably my least favorite GNR single), Patience and Think About You (same as Brownstone), It's So Easy (great song, but little Axl input from all accounts) My Michelle (just not that huge a fan of it compared to other stuff in the catalogue)

What'd Id put in, aside from any and all new stuff we haven't heard yet(trying to keep it somewhat realistic and exluding stuff Axl had little to nothing to do with): Estranged, Sway (if they want another cover to replace LALD), Civil War, Catcher In The Rye, Don't Cry, Yesterdays

I just wanna hear some more Illusion era stuff along with a few more new songs. I'd like to hear Don't Cry, Bad Obsession, Dead Horse, Estranged, and Civil War. They could eliminate My Michelle, OTGM,LALD,and KOHD for all i care. Not that i don't like those songs- cuz i do, but i'd just like to see more illusion stuff and not covers(lald & kohd).

To be honest. Id like to mix things up like some nights play Nice Boys instead of My Michelle. some nights play Yesterdays instead of Think About You. Some Nights Used To Love Her..Some Estranged some Dont Cry,Cival War. Just mix up bit to bit to keep concerts and the band fresh. Mixed in with new songs though of course. But you get my drift.

Right on Brother! Probably won'y happen. Apparently Guns like to keep it nice, safe and predictable. Why would they wanna switch things up or call an "audible" After all this is the most dangerous band in the world!

If they want to be taken in as a new chapter they need to stick with new songs. Dont reintroduce old songs.

From Appetite: Jungle, Easy, Brownstone, Nightrain, Sweet Child, Rocket Queen, Paradise City

dropped: out ta get me(corny for a 44year old man), my michelle (sounds dated), think about you (maybe sometimes)

From Illusions: You Could Be Mine, Heavens Door (save for later in set, it kills the mood), November Rain

dropped: Live and Let Die should just be shot, I cant stand it.

From Chinese: AS MANY SONGS AS YOU CAN POSSIBLY FIT.


Change the rotation too, Jungle would be killer towards the end of the set. Same with Sweet Child, that song really needs to be an encore or the song before the encore.

Why do you all hate Live and let die!!! It is one of my favourite GNR songs.  In my opinion it is also the best cover ever made. It is just brilliant. GNR took a shity song and made it there own. It should never be dropped.
