Richard said that Civil War might be a possibility.

Everything might be a possibility for Richard.

I'm trying to remember if they ever played "The Garden" at Madison Square Garden..hmm. I think I remember hearing "Breakdown" in late 91 ...but heck bring "Locomotive" into the mix .

Hell, play Get In The Ring and use names of critics who have badmouthed GNR recently.

Well, wasn't Ron playing "Don't Cry" at one of the gigs in Europe?

Just a little nitpick, but just in case you didn't know, Ron played Don't Cry at pretty much all the shows in Europe.  peace

Only an opinion, but we have all the old songs we're going to get at this point...Every addition moving forward will be new.

I don't. ?I think they'd play brand spanking new songs before they play "Civil War" or "Dead Horse". ?Ron does play that "Don't Cry" solo though, so I guess that COULD be possible. ?But I doubt it. ?I think we'll see much the same setlist, unless we get the album during the tour which we are supposed to.

Or they could simply do 60% of new songs but I doubt the album will drop in the early part of the tour. ?They did do the Illusion tour without the albums being dropped till late in the year in 91.
Get your chinese democracy for Christmas..ugh.

if at all possible i'd like to get it for my birth day- November 10.? November 14 is still a possible release date.

Would you settle for Thanksgiving instead Smiley
hey maybe election day in November..nah...

hopefully between my b-day and mid December, otherwise my mom would want to keep it until Christmas before i could listen to it  Roll Eyes

For anyone knows the odd message about 13 Tuesdays left of the year probably means something..who knows when it'll come out.  I think when Illusion albums came it was in mid SEptember '91 .but they were touring in early June 91..  THough still hopeful before Thanksgiving..  And maybe they'll play estranged or maybe Coma..yeah right..that's rarely played

clearly they arent going to play any more illusions songs...they are just playing appetite + november rain (because they have to) + live and let die and then the new songs.  they havent deviated from this yet, why would that? dont cry is just filler in the show.

I cant see them playing any songs percieved to be the other guys songs.  I think the hole guitar on Estranged is totaly Slash.   What do they play off U1/2..  2 covers and a sound track song and Axls Ballad.  Would love to hear something different.  Happy to hear anything!  Doubt will here anything off those albums that hasnt been played all ready.  Heard a rumor to Civil war being played, would be cool.

I hope it for you! But I don't think that it happens. In my opinion the Illusion's songs are tied with a period that Axl don't want remember.
But maybe I'm wrong.

Of course, I will be happy with just seeing the band live in L.A. for the first since 1992. I like the setlist they've used this year and I am sure they will include other selections as the tour progresses. I thought I would start a thread for tracks you hope to hear on their 2006-2007 (?) tour that have yet to be played.

My requests:

1. Anything from the new album ("T.W.A.T," "Catcher...," etc.)

2. "You're Crazy" (Lies Version)

3. "Civil War"

4. "Double Talkin' Jive"

5. "Yesterdays"

6. "Estranged"

7. "Pretty Tied Up"

How about you guys?!

 Cool

GN'R has NEVER played my favorite song in their entire catalog:  Don't Damn Me.

I'm not holding my breath at this point, though.

They won't be playing songs that most people are not familiar with (Illusions filler songs, as much as we love them they are not well known). The setlist will stay somewhat similar IMO, with more CD songs...

I thought they played that track at the tour warm-ups in 91?
