TOMORROW IS TUESDAY!

Axl's press release tomorrow starts now.?

i am anticipating one anytime now.? I think that the delay could be due to more shows that are being booked or some last minute legalities to worked out. My guess.

you would think but the lack of a follow statement from the band or management doesn't bode well IMO; it has been two weeks since IRS leaked

you would think but the lack of a follow statement from the band or management doesn't bode well IMO; it has been two weeks since IRS leaked

They must be either searching for the sources of the leaks or having done so, plugged them.  Thankfully they didn't take a page from the Tom Cruise Scientology play book; sometimes NOT acknowledging something publicly is the best route.

he has to right??? He has remained silent for so many years through all of the rumors and all of the controversy. He has remained silent about what really happened in Philly. He has remained silent about all things Chinese Democracy. Now his album is leaking after more then a decade of silence and not a note of music. His album is leaking and he has not addressed anything. When the leaks started we were all like "announcement any day" announcement by the end of the week". I know it has not been that long, but what if he makes no statement. I think these new songs sound great and I cannot wait to here the finished product, but please Axl, for once please let us know what the real story is.

I know what you mean.  I gave up on Sunday and decided to listen to Better and TWAT.  If they announce a release date I'll probably wait for the album before listening to anymore.

yes, listen!  we might not ever see the album or they might appear on future albums, years off in the future. plus they will sound 100% different probably

I havent heard the full version of better and catcher in the rye, and i really dont want to until the album comes out.? these leaks are getting to be ridiculous, they need to announce something soon, however if they make an announcement and say the album isnt finished but these songs wont be on cd is pointless

I've tried being patient about this, but now I just really have to ask:

What the hell could possibly be keeping management and/or the record company from making an announcement? There's still never been an official announcement about the tour dates (even though Merck confirmed them), and song #4 just leaked.

At this point, the only way to prevent more leaks is to give us a solid, confirmed release date. The fans are getting tired of being jerked around, and it seems like we're so close, but with no official word, its hard to get your hopes up.

I really have to question management's motives on this one. It seems like they're waiting to drop everything at once, but last time I checked, there's never been any rule that you can't make more than one press release. Announce what's confirmed now (the festivals, album release date), and then as more tour dates are announced, put out another one. Its not rocket science or brain surgery. I really think I could manage this band better at this point in time!

Mysteron said they are still booking dates, so I guess there will not be official word until the tour schedule is finished.
