No I think it's a make-or-break time for Axl.  He needs for this album to drop, do interviews, play concerts ON TIME, the whole nine yards or no one is going to take this incarnation of GNR seriously.  Alot of the press and average fans are already skeptical, he needs to put those people to rest.

I notice there are some comments Axl made regarding the Download festival

Could this be the major announcement that Gigger etc.. have alluded to or was this major announcment confirmation of Rio.

These guys definitley alluded it to it pertaining to a release date if im not mistaken

the tickets for the dublin show go on sale tommorrow,so why hasnt there been "THAT" official statement regarding these dates yet.im a bit confused as to why these shows are out there without a statement about them.surely something should be said before tickets go on sale.

I wonder why too, perhaps they are still figuring out places to play..........Rock am Ring tickets go on sale 1 march.....tickets will be more expensice then....that is when most big festivals have confirmed there full acts

this is exactly why I am going.  i'm not going to take that chance.  I can't believe I am doing something so crazy, I am scared to death to fly, let alone go that far from home, so i guess you might call it "A Bad Obsession".

thats what im thinking.i want to wait and see if they do a show like the manchester men arena or the nec in birmingham but im afraid of losing out on the dublin and download tickets.

Am I the only one some of these festivals jumped the gum in announcing GnR at these shows?  Axl mentioned the one, but where is the confirmation from Axl?  One of the band members posted the dates on his website but when have the band members known anything?

We've been hearing from band memebers I don't know for sure but it should be soon for 6 years now?

I'd be taking it with a grain of salt until Axl or merck makes a statement on Axl's behlaf confirming any dates.  To do otherwise is etting yourself up for dissapointment.

Why would these festivals make this up?
